Roberta Newman

Alice Nakhimovsky is distinguished professor of Jewish studies and professor of Russian and Eurasian studies at Colgate University. She is currently working on a book about Jewish lives under Stalin.

Roberta Newman is an independent scholar, writer, and researcher. She was the director of digital initiatives at YIVO from 2013–2019 and is now writing a book about Yiddish poet Leyzer Wolf.
