Neal Gabler

Neal Gabler is the author of Barbra Streisand: Redefining Beauty, Femininity, and Power (Yale University Press) and four previous books on the history of American entertainment and celebrity culture, including An Empire of Their Own: How the Jews Invented Hollywood. He teaches at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and is currently working on a biography of Senator Edward Kennedy.
