Abraham Sutzkever

Abraham Sutzkever (1913–2010) belonged to the interwar Yiddish literary movement Yung Vilne and published two volumes of poetry in his twenties. After surviving the Shoah, he immigrated to Israel in 1947 and founded the preeminent postwar Yiddish journal Di goldene keyt.
