John J. Clayton

John J. Clayton is the author of four novels and five short story collections, most recently Minyan: Ten Interwoven Stories (Paragon House). His stories have been featured in O. Henry Prize Stories, Best American Short Stories, and the Pushcart Prize anthology. His forthcoming book, Parkinson’s Blues: Stories of My Life (Paragon House), began as an article in the Jewish Review of Books. He was a professor of English at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, for more than 30 years.
