Barbara S. Burstin

Barbara S. Burstin teaches courses on American Jewish history at the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, and was chair of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh. She is the author of a two-volume history of the Pittsburgh Jewish community, Steel City Jews, as well as Jewish Pittsburgh (Arcadia Publishing) and After the Holocaust: The Migration of Polish Jews and Christians to Pittsburgh (University of Pittsburgh Press).
